As with all good
communities, life at the Belswan retirement village estate
in Mandurah, Western Australia offers many different
interests for many different people. It might be simply taking
an hour to pick up a paper, or a book from the village library
in the morning due to meeting and stopping to chat. For some
it is walking the dog around the kilometres of parkland walkways
or meeting friends for those early morning laps at the heated
pool. For others, it is the barbeques and humour lubricated
by a few friendly "noggins" down at Friday's happy
hour.
Maybe it means practice on the bowling
rinks to sharpen your competitive edge down at the local club,
or gathering with the guys over at the workshop, likewise
the ladies into their arts and crafts at the community centre.
Residents of the Belswan retirement
estate village community are pro-active people and are likely
to be into anything from cycling clubs, recycling projects,
building jobs, giving a neighbour a hand, cycling, fishing,
social functions, or any of the almost endless activities
that abound in coastal Mandurah.
These days, to become reclusive is
easy enough to do. It can happen by default, however the therapy
value of laughter requires people. Located just an hours drive
from Perth, life is busy in and out of the Belswan community
village estate in Mandurah, and we welcome you to join our
like minded people simply enjoying the good life.
